Ale Nunez is an award-winning vocalist, songwriter, bandleader, and educator based in Toronto, Canada. Coming from a theatre and jazz background, Ale started her training at the age of 10. She attended Wexford Collegiate School for the Arts and graduated from Humber College with a bachelor’s degree in music. Ale is a full-time jazz musician and has been making her mark performing across the Ontario music scene and beyond over the past few years. She has run songwriting workshops at the Capitol Theatre in Port Hope and led a vocal clinic with the jazz choir at Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts. Ale has been a vocal teacher since 2021 and specializes in popular music/theatre/songbook, vocal technique, vocal health, and performance. Lippert Music welcomed Ale in 2024.

You can often see her perform at venues such as The Rex, and The Jazz Bistro, as well as Canadian Music Incubator events. Ale was named "Artist of the Year" by the Toronto Undergraduate Jazz Festival in 2023 and 1st place recipient of the Etobicoke Jazz Festival's Doc Awards in 2022. Most recently Ale was selected to participate in JazzFM91's 2024 Discover Women in Jazz series and the TD Markham Jazz Festival. Ale has released her first two original singles and is planning to release an EP of original compositions in 2025.
